Project Highlights:

In 1996, Congresswoman Julia Carson made history by becoming the first woman and the first African American ever sent to congress by the State of Indiana. Having served 18 years in the Indiana General Assembly and 6 years as Center Township Trustee before going to Washington, Congresswoman Carson has been at the forefront of various efforts to better the lives of American people and residents of Indiana in particular. Her new suite of offices is reflective of both her flair for style and her strong sense of frugality.

The project was a total build-out of a previously vacant floor of the Julia Carson Government Center, which gave them more than double the space of their previous location. The new office suite includes 2 conference rooms, a library and video conferencing capabilities.
